Built specifically to be a Bed and Breakfast, Woodrow House Bed and Breakfast is the culmination of four years of dreaming, planning, researching and designing by the owners and hosts, David and Dawn Fleming. The Woodrow House Bed and Breakfast is the first permanent structure built on the corner lot at 19th street and Boston Avenue in Lubbock TX. The land was first deeded by the state of Texas via Patent No. 457, Vol. 30 dated August 2, 1878. Woodrow House B&B is named after David's paternal grandfather, George Woodrow Fleming (1914-1972). Woodrow "Woody" Fleming was a Texas Rancher, agri-businessman, cotton ginner, grain merchant and entrepreneur. Located across the street from Texas Tech University, Woodrow House Bed and Breakfast is within walking distance to virtually all university events and activities.
