Driving
Directions: From Interstate 35 Southbound:
Take exit 342A. Proceed to first light and turn left onto Crest Drive/FM 2417 and go straight through next two lights. You will travel on this same road for approx. four miles to the lodge. On your way here, the paved road will curve sharply several times as you go around the TSTC airport, and the name of the road changes from Crest Drive to Mazanec Road. After 3 1/2 miles, watch for the ranch entranceway on the left with stone columns and silver pipe fencing, and for the red, white & blue mailbox with Rope The Wind in white letters on it. Proceed up the driveway and turn left at the top of the hill in front of the two-story house. Continue to follow the driveway a short distance to the lodge, a ranch-style house w a brown metal roof & a large metal star on the front.
From Interstate 35 Northbound:
Take exit 342A. Proceed to and turn right at the light onto Crest Drive/FM 2417 and then go straight through the next light. You will travel on this same road for approx. four miles to the lodge. From Highway 84/31:
Exit the highway on Aviation Parkway (which only heads north from the highway). There is a Dr. Pepper plant on the corner. Aviation Parkway is approximately two miles west from the Highway 84/31 split (going west) and approx. four miles east from intersection of Loop 340 and Highway 84/31. Proceed on Aviation Parkway due north until it winds northeasterly around a cemetery and golf course and ends directly into Our Way Rd. Proceed left on Our Way Rd. (north) until it deadends on Mazanec Rd. Take a right on Mazanec Rd. and proceed approx. two miles while watching for the ranch entranceway on the left with stone columns and silver pipe fencing, and for the red, white & blue mailbox with Rope The Wind on the side in white letters & 5637 on its post. Proceed up the driveway and turn left at the top of the hill in front of the two-story. Continue to follow the driveway a short distance to the lodge, a ranch-style house with a brown metal roof & metal stars on the front. |
