The Stonewall Jackson Inn is a very special Harrisonburg Bed and Breakfast. The Inn is a restored mansion (circa 1885) that is unique to this area of Virginia. It is a blend of traditional Queen Anne and a Stone and Shingled New England Cottage Style architecture. The Inn looks and feels like an old summer coastal home at on the New England coast. There are ten well appointed guestrooms, each with private bath, sound insulated with climate control, television and Free "Wi-Fi" Wireless Internet connection. Overnight lodging includes a full "Breakfast to Remember" each morning. Driving
Directions: Directions from Interstate 81
Traveling both North and South, you will see us identified as an Historic Attraction at Exit 247. Take the "B" option, you will enter Market Street going west on US Rt. 33 (Market Street) toward the Downtown Historic District of Harrisonburg. The Inn is on this street I mile from the exit; there are no turns.
Continuing on Market Street, follow the big Blue & Gold Signs toward the Historic District/Visitors Center. Go through 3 traffic lights and as you come over the hill, merge in the left lane. On the right, you will see a curb mounted dual blinking caution light.
Stonewall Jackson Lane is on the left, across from this light. You will see our large stone marquee and a flag pole flying a 12x24 Old Glory with the Confederate First National below it. At the coach light, turn left into our Stonewall Jackson Lane, go straight ahead, it will loop right into our free parking area. Welcome to the our famous Stonewall Jackson Experience.
