Anna and Steven welcome you to their luxurious detached, purpose built family run Bed and Breakfast home, just sitting up from the promenade in Salthill with a panoramic view of Galway Bay and Golf Course. Galway city is just 2kms away with frequent bus service all day long from outside our front door. Claremount is bright and spacious, offering very high standard accommodation. All rooms are en-suite with top of the range beds(queen) with goose down duvets, pillows and large deluxe soft towels. We offer a superb breakfast menu which is cooked to order. Steven is the chef and everything is cooked to perfection. Private car park. No smoking house.

We are situated along the main Salthill promenade, up the road from the Galway Bay Hotel, Salthill Hotel, and Leisure Land.(Opposite the Spinnaker Hotel) Overlooking the fourth tee on Galway Bay Golf Club, convenient to Galway pubs, music, restaurants, theatres, cinema, art galleries, Salthill aquarium, tennis, windsurfing, fishing, horse riding, driving range.

Salthill is one of Ireland's most popular holiday destinations, with its blue flag sandy beaches being the main attractions. Located beside Galway city (2kms).

Salthill boasts a promenade 2 miles long where locals and visitors stroll in the evening and take the fresh sea air, while "watching the sun go down on Galway Bay". Claremount House is an ideal base for day trips to explore the fascinating Galway Bay, the lovely mountains and lakes, Connemara, the Aran Islands, the Sky drive, Kylemore Abbey and the National Park, the stony hills of the Burren and the spectacular Cliffs of Moher. Breakfast: A full breakfast is served Full Irish breakfast and continental breakfast. Scrambled egg and salmon. Poached egg and spinach. Grapefruit and natural youghurt. Fruit. Choice of juices and cereals. Porridge served with brown sugar and honey. Toasted cheese and ham sandwhich. scones

Driving Directions: From train station, turn left. Left again along Dock Road. Go straight onto Salthill. Pass Galway Bay Hotel and Leisureland and these will be on your right hand side coming out to us, go through the small round about,and we are about 500 yards up on the right hand side, opposite the Spinnaker Hotel.
