For us, hosting is a real value, made of listening, respect and helpfulness.
Enzo and Monika constantly try to translate the meaning of this sentence in every gesture. From the moment they started restoring the ancient monastery where they now live, they have been guided by an effort to create a welcoming atmosphere.
By choosing local artisans and craftsmen as well as material recovered from old houses, they were able to restore the ancient glamour without renouncing to comfort, thus creating a mix of wondrous harmony between simple and welcoming internal rooms and an external almost unchanged environment.

The remodeled and beautiful rooms, some mansard style (with some nice dormers from which you can see the blue sky), are furnished with country-style furniture that recreates old country houses’ atmosphere and warmth.
Thanks to this particular attention, dictated by a real passion for details and an interest for the wellbeing of guests, we would like to create in all the rooms the feeling of a real house, one filled with warmth and genuine hospitality.

All rooms have private bathrooms.

Breakfast: Daily prices, continental breakfast included. Our breakfast includes local products, homemade bread and yogurt, jams made from our fruit-trees, honey, milk, herbal teas, coffee, and salty products typical of our region.

Driving Directions: From Florence Drive along A1 highway until the Valdichiana exit. Take the E7 freeway towards the Trasimeno Lake until the Passignano Est exit. Go on towards Castel Rigone. After about 7 km, there is a crossroads, turn left towards Lisciano Niccone. Go on for about 9 km, turn right at the crossroads where you will find a tourist sign indicating San Niccolò Church/Valdirose). Our B&B is at the end of the building behind the church. From Rome Drive along A1 highway until the Orte exit. Take the E7 freeway towards Perugia and, without entering into Perugia city center, go on towards the Trasimeno Lake (direction Highway 1 Arezzo-Firenze) until the Torricella exit. Go on towards Castel Rigone then follow the same directions given for ‘From Florence’. From Cesena Drive along the E7 freeway until Proromano exit (just before Umbertide). Go on towards Niccone and Mercatale, pass both villages and then take the road towards Castel Rigone. After about 3 km you pass a crossroads, soon after turn right on a paved road (there is a tourist sign for San Niccolò Church). Our B&B is at the end of the building behind the church. It is possible to come by train, getting off at Passignano sul Trasimeno (12 km from our B&B) or Terontola (28 km from our B&B). www.trenitalia.it
