The Bursley Manor is an old dairy farm nestled among
magnificent chestnut trees. Built in 1670, it's one of the
oldest family properties in the quiet and peaceful village
of West Barnstable on Cape Cod. The Bursley family played
a defining role in this beautiful seaside community.
This expansive 15-room home was once the center of
operations for a grand dairy farm. You'll still find the
working milk door in the kitchen, as well as five fireplaces,
and a beehive Dutch oven, which have all been restored. The
large central chimney, which serves these, is a fine example
of American craftsmanship that is unforgettable.
