Driving Directions: FROM SAN FRANCISCO: Take Highway 101 south past Gilroy. Look for the Monterey Peninsula turnoff for Highway 156 going west. After about 5 miles this will take you to Highway 1 which you want to go south on. Proceed on Highway 1 going past Monterey to the 2nd signal - Ocean Avenue. turn right into Carmel and continue down the hill and through town to Monte Verde St. Turn right and proceed 1 12/ blocks to the Inn.
