Michael and Jane offer you a warm welcome to Garadh Buidhe (gaelic for 'Yellow Garden'), superior quality Bed and Breakfast in the Highlands of Scotland from just £25 per person per night (based on two people sharing)- just minutes away from Ben Nevis and Aonach Mor, the Nevis Range Ski Resort and mountain gondola. We are situated in a stunning, rural setting in one of the most idyllic and unique locations of the Scottish Highlands with spectacular views across to Glen Loy and the Caledonian Canal and set right on the banks of the River Lochy, in the shadow of Ben Nevis (the UK's highest mountain), just ten minutes drive North of Fort William, the outdoor capital of the United Kingdom. Garadh Buidhe, a newly built house, set in its own grounds, offers three spacious double/family bedrooms (some en-suite) tastefully decorated to a high standard. All rooms have remote control satellite television and radio, DVD player, hair dryer, clock, complimentary toiletries and hospitality tray with electric kettle and fresh milk daily. A drying room, iron and ironing board are freely available when required. We also have bicycles available for hire. Choose your own breakfast from a wide range of quality food including full Scottish breakfast, porridge, cereals, kippers, mackerel, salmon, fresh fruit, yoghurt, fresh morning rolls, toast, jams and a selection of cheeses. You will never be short of things to do whether you want to relax and enjoy the scenery close to the house or travel further a field. There is always plenty of scope to visit somewhere different each day. We will be happy to advise you of the many restaurants and eating out places in the Lochaber area and help you to plan your itinerary should you require it. Driving
Directions: From the South take A82 from Glasgow to Crianlarich and Fort William. Then take the A82 towards Inverness and Spean Bridge. Approximately three miles north of Fort William, at Torlundy, take a left turn onto a single track road signposted for Camisky and Tomacharich - follow this road for approximately 3 miles and Garadh Buidhe can be found on the left hand side by the River Lochy.
From the North take the A82 from Inverness to Spean Bridge and Fort William. Approximately half a mile after leaving Spean Bridge in the direction of Fort William, take a right hand turn onto a single track road signposted Highbridge, Brackletter and Kilmonivaig. Follow this road for approximately four miles and Garadh Buidhe can be found on the right hand side by the River Lochy. (See google map for directions) |
