(from the north you will need to turn left, from the south turn right over the motorway). On the right you will pass Poplars nursery. A short distance ahead you will come to a roundabout, take the second exit signed to Harlington station. Follow this road into Harlington village passing the station on the right. Eventually you will come to a crossroads. Proceed straight over passing the church on your right and follow this road out into open countryside. After approx 2 – 2.5 miles you will arrive in the village of Sharpenhoe. Approx 500 yds on the right is a pub / restaurant called the Lynmore, turn right immediately before the pub into Sharpenhoe Road. The road climbs uphill and will eventually bring you into Streatley. On entering the village take the first left (still Sharpenhoe Road) you will then pass the all important village pub on the right - ‘The Chequers’ carry straight on (signed village only). The Old Forge is the first house that is next to the road on the right. Parking is possible in Stanley Road opposite.
