Guest Beware - Owner Threatened Me

My wife and I stayed in a room with a private hot tub. The hot tub had a cover that was completely waterlogged and in disrepair when we arrived. The cover was extreamly heavy due to the amount of water traped inside of it. During our stay the foam on the inside of the cover broke apart. I informed the maintenance man of this during our stay. A couple of days after we got home the owner called me and demanded that I pay to replace the cover. When I told the owner that I did not believe that the situation was my fault, he threatened to call the local police and take out a warrant for my arrest. I am appauled at the owners lack of professionalism. Guest Beware!!!
