Arrowhead Country Inn is a charming, intimate and romantic Bed and Breakfast in Southern Utah on Scenic Highway 89, across the street from the historic Home Studio of western artist Maynard Dixon and centrally located near the East Gate of spectacular Zion National Park, and between Bryce Canyon National Park and the pristine Grand Canyon North Rim. Arrowhead features a picturesque setting amidst orchards and gardens, spectacular views of the nearby White Cliffs, spacious cabins and guest rooms, a farm fresh breakfast feast each morning and upscale dining at the Broken Arrow Restaurant. Our Country Inn provides a wonderful ‘base camp’ setting for avid hikers and casual sightseers, as well as a comfortable and peaceful atmosphere for those who want to escape the clamor of the city, or rest after a day or three of hiking. The weary traveler is advised to soak up sun by the pool, doze in a hammock under the apple trees, or relax and watch the goldfish play in the pond. We understand, though, if you would rather be out hiking. We know that nearby there are many wondrous sights to see and a multitude of trails beckoning for you to follow. But when you come back from the parks, you are welcome to pamper yourself in the Jacuzzi, then relax in our dining room while our chef prepares a Southwestern Chicken Cordon Blue with Roasted Raspberry Chipotle Sauce, or Steak Sonora with Carmelized Onions and Peppers and Freshly Baked Tortillas, or Maple Glazed Salmon with Red Wine Sauce - all served with delicious homemade Shepherd's Bread.

After dinner, walk in our gardens or select a movie from our library and watch it in the privacy of your room. In the morning, wake up to the aroma of fresh coffee; Strawberry Cheese Blintzes; Ffluffy Pancakes topped with Maple Syrup, Peaches, Blueberries or Raspberries; Bacon or Sausage and Eggs; Apricot and Almond Muffins; Caramel Apple French Toast; or Ham and Cheese and Mushroom Frittatas, to name just a few of our chef’s daily breakfasts specialties.

Driving Directions: How to Get Here: The closest international airport is in Las Vegas, about 187 miles and 3 ½ hours away. To reach us from McCarran Airport in Las Vegas: Take Tropicana Ave. west to Interstate 15 Follow the I-15 north and east towards Salt Lake City. You will pass through Mesquite, NV and St. George, UT. 8 miles past St. George, exit on Hwy 9, east to Zion National Park. Follow Hwy 9 through Hurricane, Springdale and Zion National Park. 13 miles after leaving Zion’s East Entrance, turn north on Hwy 89 at Mt. Carmel Junction. To find Arrowhead, just look for our white fences! We are located 2 miles north of Mt. Carmel Junction and 3 miles south of Orderville on the east side of Hwy 89, next to mile marker 84.

Local Area Attractions: Arrowhead is centrally located between Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon National Park and the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. Other destinations include Lake Powell, Cedar Breaks National Monument, Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, Coral Pink Sand Dunes and more. Guests are also welcome to relax by our pool, walk the grounds, or hike to the White Cliffs just behind the Inn (no driving necessary).
