The Peach House  

The Peach House provides high quality accommodations and delightful breakfasts for both business and leisure travelers.

The Peach House was built in 1906 in Atlanta's first suburb, historic Inman Park. In 1995 the current proprietor and innkeeper bought the home and has undertaken two renovations to restore the old manor to its original grandeur while updating it with some of today's modern conveniences.

The antique-filled accommodations consist of a common area with piano parlor, sitting parlor and dining room; 3 comfortably furnished suites/bedrooms; a cozy 1 bedroom basement apartment with fully-equipped kitchen; and a wonderful front porch just made for sitting!

Breakfast: Wonderful breakfasts -- all with a southern flare. The menus vary daily providing the guests yet another thing to look forward to!

Driving Directions: From I-75/I-85: The interstates join together through the heart of downtown Atlanta. Take the exit for Freedom Parkway and the Carter Center. Turn right at the first light onto Boulevard. Travel approximately 1/2 mile and make a left onto Edgewood. Travel another 1/2 mile and make a left onto Spruce Street. Spruce is a 1 block, one-way street. The Peach House is the last house on your left — 88 Spruce.

Local Area Attractions: The Peach House is conveniently located in downtown Atlanta, just minutes from the Georgia Convention Center, Merchandise Mart, Carter Center, Phillips Arena, the Aquarium and many other downtown attractions. It is situated in historic Inman Park, Atlanta’s first suburb, a lovely in-town neighborhood with examples of all types of historic architecture, such as: Queen Anne, Colonial Revival, Shingle Style, and bungalows. In addition, the neighborhood boasts several green space parks for guests to enjoy. The houses in this historic district are primarily private residences. The Peach House is located adjacent to 2 cultural districts within Atlanta. First, just minutes away and within walking distance is the Sweet Auburn Historic District. This area is home to many historic sites, including Martin Luther King Jr.’s birth home, Ebenezer Baptist Church (Martin Luther King’s church), and the Martin Luther King Jr. National Historic site. Secondly, also only minutes away and within walking distance is the eclectic and entertaining business community and neighborhood of Little Five Points. By far, it is the most diverse section in the city with a rich mix of art, theater and commerce. Of course Atlanta has a plethora of activities for visitors to enjoy, an added bonus of The Peach House is that it is perfectly situated so that guest can have a wonderful Atlanta experience without having to venture far.
