Driving
Directions: Arriving from Airport and I-26
(From the airport, take I-526 to I-26.) When approaching Charleston on I-26 East, stay on I-26 until it ends, following signs to "Meeting Street/Visitor's Center." Follow Meeting Street south approximately 2.0 miles until it ends, at South Battery. Number 2 Meeting Street is the white Victorian house on the left.
Arriving from the North on Hwy.17 South
After crossing Cooper River, turn left on Meeting Street south. Follow Meeting Street south approximately 2.0 miles until Meeting Street ends, at South Battery. Number 2 Meeting Street is the white Victorian house on the left.
Arriving from the South on Hwy. 17N, or from Kiawah Island or Folly Beach
After crossing the Ashley River, turn right on Lockwood Boulevard. Follow the river approximately 1 mile until Lockwood turns sharply left, becoming Broad Street. Go to the stoplight at Meeting Street (the courthouse will be on your left). Turn right on Meeting Street, and travel 0.5 miles until Meeting Street ends, at South Battery. Number 2 Meeting Street is the white Victorian house on the left.
