If you love gardens and tranquillity, but for any reason you visit Naples ... this is the place to be!
In the front of the house you find the throbbing of city life, with typical restaurants, shops, bars and pizza restaurants. In the back you find birds singing, tranquillity and relax in a eighteenth century private garden closed by walls and surrounded by other gardens.
In a typical 18th century building, on the first floor, we have three rooms with their own bathroom; on the mezzanine floor you find our breakfast area with access to our secret garden.
Central railway station, metro, museums, ancient roman decumans, and Neapolitan marvels are only few minutes away walking. Besides, bus stop is in front of our building.
Our concept of hospitality is to let you feel in a family, at home; but, if you prefer so, your privacy will be respected.
Our main goal is to make your staying the cosiest possible. We know our city and its usages and customs; we will be happy to assist you in enjoying Naples at its best.
We currently speak English (as well as French and Dutch) and we love cultural contacts.

Cancellation Policy: Advance payments (deducing money transfer costs) can be returned if one should cancel the booking up to 15 days before the expected arrival date.

Driving Directions: We are in the old Naples' Center in via Foria 216, in front of the main entrance of the Royal Botanical Gardens. To reach us: From the Central station take bus 203 direction "piazza Carlo III°", bus stop "Orto Botanico" (in front of our building) or any other public bus such as 3S, 148, 14, ... to piazza Carlo III° and walk in via Foria. Taxis are available in "piazza Garibaldi". From the airport take bus 3S to reach piazza Carlo III° or Alibus that stops at the Central Station from there you can take bus 203 direction "Orto Botanico" that stops in front of our building. At Molo Beverello (ferries to islands of Capri, Ischia, Procida, ...) take bus 201 in "piazza Municipio" direction "Museo Archeologico" and stop at the "Orto Botanico". By car arriving from motorways, take the "Tangenziale" speedway and exit at "Doganella". From there, follow the road to the first traffic light and turn right in "via don Bosco". At the end of that street (2-3 kilometres) you get in piazza Carlo III; keep going to via Foria driving first along the "Albergo dei Poveri" (colossal building erected by king Carlo III of Bourbon) and then along the Royal Botanic Gardens where you can park your car. we are on the other side of the street. Besides, Metropolitana station "piazza Cavour" is not far away from our Bed & Breakfast (5 minutes walking); Metro lines 1 and 2 stop there. In piazza Cavour you can take a bus (lines C47, 182, 184 or 201 in direction of "Orto Botanico". Tickets are available at newspaper shops or tobacconists.

Local Area Attractions: We are in the old Naples' Center in via Foria 216, in front of the main entrance of the Royal Botanical Gardens. All tourist destinations are easily reached either by walking or by bus or Metro. Approximate distances to main tourist attractions are: * Museo Archeologico 1000 meters, museo MADRE 500 meters, Albergo dei Poveri 300 meters, Orto Botanico 10 meters, Duomo, S. Gregorio Armeno, Spaccanapoli, Napoli sotterranea, etc. 1000 meters * Piazza Plebiscito, Maschio Angioino, Palazzo Reale, Castel dell'Ovo, Castel Sant'Elmo, San Martino, etc. less than 2000 meters * bus stop 10 meters, metro station 500 meters, Central Station, airport 1000 meters; boats to Capri, Ischia, Procida, Sorrento 2000 meters * Pompei, Capri, Amalfi, Positano, Ravello, Caserta, ... by train or bus or hydrofoil or ferryboat in an hour or so.

Onsite Activities: Il giardino segreto: “Unique”, “magic”, “relaxing”, “fantastic”, “wonderful”: these are only some of the adjectives used by our guests to define our garden. It is one of the few remaining “hortus conclusus” of the 1700's. A unique oasis in Naples. Secular palms and trees, lemon and mandarin trees shade tables, sun beds, swing and hammocks. In spring it is an heyday of flowers and forgotten scents. It is an ideal place where to relax after the excursions in the historical center, for a party or for a workshop.
