Hi Katarina,
Happy New Year and many thanks for your cordial message. I'm glad to
hear you have availability covering the period of my stay. I'll take
the
apartment at 28,650 SKK for 30 nights (breakfast and taxes included)
and
I'll pay you in full to hold it.
UNICEF pays for my flight, accommodation and holiday expenses, so payment will be sent to you from our head office. I will instruct our finance department to send you an International Money Order on my behalf covering the total cost of my stay. You will receive payment by post and for this, I would need your Full name, Address and Telephone number to have payment mailed to you asap.
I've been looking forward to this trip for a long while; I do hope
it
will meet my expectation. Thank you and I look forward to a
wonderful
holiday.
Best regards,
Ian McDonald

Money Transfer in order to book my flight ASAP & pay-off my father's
hospital bills. I will arrive on the 27th of January.

Dear Ian,
We´ve got the checs on Thursday. On Friday my chief Odette Petrociova
asked
in bank and I had my shift in boarding house on Satturday. I don ´t find
it
very odd. It wasn´t useful to contact you without knowing a result.
Anyhow there is about 6 hours time shift between Slovakia and USA. We
can
try explore more
money institutions Monday early morning and let you know. If you wish to
destroy the checs immediately, we´ll do it.
With best wishes
Katarina

Dear Ian,
We´ve problem. The checks we´ve received aren´t appliable in Slovakia.
We were informed in banl UNIBANKA Levoca that these checks are not
accepted
in any place in Slovakia. Besides the checks are not signed.
The best way of payment is by bank transfer.
From our side we´ll hold your reservation untill you arrival (27.1.
2006),
however we can´t send you the money as we can´t use the checks your
officer
had sent to us.
With best wishes,
Katarina

Hi Katarina,
The payment sent to you is a US INTL POSTAL MONEY ORDER, cashable in
more then 120 countries around the world. A signature is not required,
only the stamp of the post-office where it was purchased. Perhaps your
bank is a small bank.. Anyway, if you had received payment ever since,
why did you not contact me? That's a bit odd...
If your bank is unable to cash it, I'll have the payment cancelled on
Monday. Please ensure that you destroy the money orders, I will pay cash
upon arrival.
Best,
Ian

Ok Katarina, You can go ahead and see if you can cash the money orders at another bank. Kindly note the money order is like a money cheque, you will be required to deposit it into your account and when the funds clear, the money will be made available to you.
Please update me on Monday as soon as possible. If you are still unable to cash payment, I'll have it cancelled right away.
Best regards,
Ian

Dear Ian,
we´ve visited four banks and post office in a district town. The check would be refunded to a bank account only after 3 to 8 weeks after verification. It would be the best solution to cancel the check and get your money at home.
With best wishes,
Katarina
